Strictly Hard Bean - SHB Coffee
The best Costa Rican coffee beans, which are grown above 3,900 feet and hand
selected, are
designated as "strictly hard bean". However, because not all
beans which grow at the higher altitudes are "Strictly Hard Bean", we
sort the beans for the hardest beans and remove the softer - "Cataula"
beans. The softer beans are called Cataula to designate them as a
byproduct of this sorting.
